    Apple Ladybug Treats — http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Apple-Ladybug-Treats/Detail.aspx

    INGREDIENTS
    2 red apples
    1/4 cup raisins
    1 tablespoon peanut butter
    8 thin pretzel sticks

    DIRECTIONS
Slice apples in half from top to bottom and scoop out the cores using a knife or melon baller. If you have an apple corer, core them first, then slice. Place each apple half flat side down on a small plate.
Dab peanut butter on to the back of the ‘lady bug’, then stick raisins onto the dabs for spots. Use this method to make eyes too. Stick one end of each pretzel stick into a raisin, then press the other end into the apples to make antennae

    or

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds -(baking clean seeds about 8 minutes, turning once).

Pumpkin Punch – clean out a pumpkin and scrap sides very well. Fill with vanilla ice cream and ginger ale.

Bowls of Candy Corn which is popular this time of year!

Fall Fruit – Apples, Raisins, Grapes – all would be fun if served in Themed Cupcake papers.

Use cookie cutters to create pumpkin, apple, leaf shapes into sugar cookies.

Or Mini Pumpkin pies – place a wafer cookie in the bottom of a cupcake paper, fill with pumpkin filling, top with miniature marshmallows and bake for 10-15 minutes.

or Carmel Apples1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
    6 tbsp. water
    Popsicle sticks
8 to 10 apples (McIntoshes work well)

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the brown sugar and water. Stir until it has a smooth consistency. Gently bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 3 minutes, until the pan’s sides get steamy and the mixture is thin but somewhat sticky. Remove from heat. Pierce the center of each apple with a Popsicle stick, then swirl in the caramel syrup until coated. Place apples on a greased cookie sheet to harden. Refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours. Serves 8 to 10.

This may sound kind of crazy but….. you could buy or make a cake and decorate it with brown, red, orange, or white or all and then decorate them with yes sugar cookies….. but shaped like leaves and pumpkins ( not jack-o-lanterns ). I would also check the nifty nut house for chocolate shaped leaves pumpkins.
